N. insignis grows in the Papua province, including the little island of Biak. The form from Biak is very different from the form of the mainland, which is usually bigger. The two forms (many enthusiasts think these are actually two different species) have been mixed up in cultivation, and often one has been sold as the other one. HERE you can see the very different shape of the pitchers of the two forms, and correct your labels if you need.
