This is an extremely variable species, and in the last decades many varieties have been named, officially and not: var. nivea, var. alata, var. gigantea, and others. These varieties are nowadays considered just mere forms. The best way to call these plants is then “white form”, “winged tendril form”, “giant form”, etc. The so-called “elongate form” has been recently reinstated as N. hemsleyana.

About 2 clones (many seedlings grew up without developing winged tendrils).
