I was curious about the backstory of this group, and I thought a comprehensive page like this was very much needed. All information comes from the great database of micromanforever.com and it's based on the original Microman boxes and catalogs. Here it was just rearranged. I also put the photo sources: if you own any and you want them removed, let me know.

1975-76

Acroyear A30X (X = 1, 2, 3)

In the early catalog, the Acroyears were unfortunate Micromans whose capsules landed on the seabed. Due to the lack of cosmic energy and sunlight, and to the influence of pollution, they slowly mutated into evil beings. In later Microman mangas and catalogs, the Acroyears were portrayed as evil Micromans responsible for the destruction of Micro Earth, who arrived on Earth and benefited from its pollution, which enhanced their powers and made them even more evil.
A301 Red Star: revived in the Tokyo Bay, Japan. Formerly a Microman natural scientist. He can manipulate natural phenomena like earthquakes, tidal waves and storms.
A302 Silver Star: revived in the River Thames, near London, UK. Formerly a Microman who researched microorganisms. Now he creates biological weapons.
A303 Blue Star: revived in the Naples Bay, Italy. He has no knowledge of his former self as a Microman. Cruel and without mercy.

1975-76

Acroyear A31X (X = 1, 2, 3)

Same background as A30X.
A311 Mad Pink: revived in the New York City Bay, US. His mind became homicidal due to breathing exhaust fumes. He enjoys trampling and rampant destruction.
A312 Mad Green: revived near a factory in the Seito area (?), Japan. A genius brain that became evil. He was the leader of the Acroyears until the arrival of the President Acroyears. He retained knowledge of weapon technology from his former self as a Microman.
A313 Mad Blue: revived near Liverpool, UK. Unstoppable when angry.

1976

President Acroyear A32X (X = 1, 2, 3)

The President Acroyears (Satander, Demon and Devil; same order as photo) are the leaders and generals of the Acroyear Corp. They were revived in extremely polluted conditions, which severely mutated their brain. Their body also underwent a massive transformation due to pollution. Their evilness was amplified by ten times that of the Acroyear A30X and A31X combined. At one point, the President Acroyears were severely damaged and they were revived by the Ardens, who rebuilt them as Amazon Commanders (sometimes called President Amazons).

Mecha Acroyear is a motorized hybrid tank-mecha that was built by the President Acroyears to fight Robot Machine Z.

The President Acroyears built Giant Acroyear in a secret base under an Egyptian pyramid.

1978

Cosmo Satan Arden A35X (X = 1, 2, 3)

70.000 light-years from Earth there was once a bright star called Arden. The third planet in the Arden system was called Arden and it used to host the highly civilized Arden people, who lived in perfect harmony with nature. One day, a massive Alpha-H7 energy wave moved through the system and the axis of the planet went out of control. The massive energy shockwave caused a strong gravitational push on the planet and it made its equilibrium shift. The once beautiful planet Arden is now out of alignment and dark because the light from the star can no longer reach it. It's covered in thick gas and the Ardens are living in the darkness. To make things worse, the Arden scientists found out that the star itself was affected by this catastrophe and it's going cold. The leader of the Ardens realized that the star could go supernova within three years. The military faction called Arden Corp, which has taken over the planet, set out on a starship to find a new home. These (Cosmo Satan) Ardens soon found the Earth and they decided to take over the planet by sending a smaller ship with three Arden soldiers: Heller, Rager and Vulger (red, silver and blue; same order as photo). The three Ardens start their plan by using the Acroyears as a means of aggression.

1978

Arden Robo

Arden Robo was built by the Cosmo Satan Ardens to fight Robotman and Robot Machine Z.

1979

Amazon Acroyear A37X (X = 1, 2, 3)

In an attempt to build Acrotopia, the Acroyears and the Ardens depleted the Earth's natural resources by using the newly created Amazon monsters (Urokoman, Tokageras and Mushikeller). The Ardens rebuilt the President Acroyears as Amazon Commanders to lead the new army of Amazon monsters. The Microman Police Keepers found out that the Amazons (monsters and commanders) were responsible for the destruction of the Earth's resources. The Micromans then accelerated the construction of their Mt Fuji Rescue Secret Base and they created the new Microman Rescue Crew. The Microman Rescue Crew, escorted by the Microman Police Keepers, was assigned to various geographical areas in an attempt to stop the Amazons from plundering the Earth's resources and building Acrotopia.

1979

Updated version of A30X. Their names are Fire Star, Earth Star and Sky Star (same order as photo).

1999

Acroyear A30X (X = 4)

2000

Cosmo Satan Arden A35X (X = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)

The work of the three Ardens from 1978 was stopped by the Micromans, and six new Arden soldiers were sent to Earth to help in the aggression plan.
This is a reissue of the 1978 series plus six new Ardens: Dieger, Burier, Raiser (yellow, green, purple; same order as photo), Gaizan, Huaizan, Garidan (white, orange, grey; same order as photo; spelling varies).
Eventually, (Cosmo Satan Arden A350) Lucifer, the golden god of destruction, was unhappy with the work done by his predecessors and he decided to come to Earth and accomplish the plan by himself (third photo).

2002

Acroyear A30X (White Camouflage)

Robotman needs an upgrade, a special chip. The chip is very unstable and has to be installed in a special field (a snowy area of the Microman base?). Douglas, head of the project, decides to undertake the work of installing the chip. He uses a white body coating to safely work in the field. Then suddenly the sound of the alarm! There's an intruder! The intruder is an Acroyear using a special camouflage that allows him to blend with the colour of the base.
